BEA Members have access to the complete list of books available at The Brazilian Library and can make a reservation by phone.
The intention of this contest is to stimulate young writers who are sons of Brazilian immigrants or were born in Brazil and moved to the US as children and are currently living in New York area.
The first place will get a laptop.
The Brazilian Library is now the main reference for Brazilian communities and is also a center of reference for studies and research on the arts, history and culture of Brazil.
The collection currently has more than 6,000 titles available for borrowing.
